PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
This is an age where children are transitioning from the aspects of parallel play to interactive play with their peers. Their personalities are becoming more defined. Using this knowledge we will be emphasizing the importance of social emotional development and expressing our feelings. The FrogStreet Curriculum is designed with intentional instruction using child-directed play and valuing individual differences.
CHILD DIRECTED PLAY
Using the concept of child-directed play our goal is to cultivate their self confidence and interests. Having this as the backbone of our curriculum allows us to take their interests and shape each lesson on each child’s interest.
MATH & LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT
In preparation for Kindergarten, we will begin to introduce the essential learning aspects of math and language. Using what we know about their interest, our curriculum will be created into a fun and engaging learning lesson.
